Boise Police make drug bust during traffic stop last weekend


According to the Boise Police Department, a fugitive from South Dakota was busted for Marijuana possession. The Press Release itself stated, " Boise Police observed a vehicle driving West on Overland Road near South Phillippi Street without license plates or a temporary registration early Sunday morning, October 27th, at approximately 5:06 a.m. Officers stopped the driver near South Phillippi Street and Bel Air Street. Officers recognized the distinct odor of an alcoholic beverage when they approached the vehicle. A check through Boise City Records indicated the suspect had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest out of South Dakota, resulting in the Fugitive to Idaho charge."
