Idaho State Police to host driving simulator to highlight dangers of texting while driving


Mark Reinhardt- Boise Idaho This weekend, the Idaho State Police is putting its simulator on display to highlight the dangers of Texting while Driving. Through the twitter based announcement, a conversation ensued about other kinds of driving dangers, According to the National Transportation Safety Board, "Sending or receiving a text takes a driver's eyes from the road for an average of 4.6 seconds, the equivalent-at 55 mph-of driving the length of an entire football field, blind.
