New Construction taking place at Main and 6th Intersection

In Boise, there is an area of the Downtown Core referred to as the “Old Boise District.” The District itself, is home to buildings originally built during the early 20th Century. One of those buildings, is the Eagles Building;

Current construction in the area, is a part of a Capital City Development Corporation initiative, called, “Old Boise Streetscape.”

Construction at Main and 6th Intersection in Downtown Boise Idaho.

The main contract for the project was awarded to “Diamond Contractors” for the amount of Seven Hundred Eighty Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred Sixty Six dollars. According to May 12th Minutes of the Corporations Board of Commissioners.

Corporation documents list four companies as consultants for the project.
 Addressing the issue of Asbestos, one the projects addendum's stated;

 Asbestos Abatement relating to Tom Grainey's and Idaho Blueprint and Supply.

The Corporations 2013 Annual Report stated the following on Development Projects within Boise;

While current Development Projects has risen community concerns in recent years, it stands in contrast to projects in the late 1980s;
