At a March meeting of the Permanent Building Council, Jan Few, Deputy Administrator of the Idaho Divsion of Public Works made a presentation relating to Americans with Disabilities Act improvements at the Idaho Statehouse. According to the presentation, obtained through the Idaho Public Records Act. This was the summary of what the improvements would look like;
The Department of Justice originally became involved after a complaint was filed by Executive Director of the National Council on Independent Living Kelly Buckland. Within the 2012 session of the Idaho State Legislature, further inquiries on the issue were met with the use of Allied Barton Security Services; Sources:
