The Idaho Department of Administration has issued a bulletin announcing a rule change on the subject of Criminal Justice information services. According to the proposed rule, it states,
"This rule will include terms defined in Section 67-3001, Idaho Code. This rule will also provide a procedure for
the expungement of a person’s criminal history record, for the transmittal of criminal history arrest fingerprints, and
for a person to contest to the accuracy and completeness of a criminal history record in the database of the Bureau of
Criminal Identification, as allowed pursuant to Section 67-3001, Idaho Code."
The proposed rule issued by the Idaho State Police, stated that there would be no fees associated with this rule, however, in terms of Tax Dollar impact, it states,
"FISCAL IMPACT: The following is a specific description, if applicable, of any negative fiscal impact on the state
general fund greater than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) during the fiscal year resulting from this rulemaking: There
is no impact on the general fund."
