A YouTube video, taken in
September of last year, had shown an interaction between a driver and
a Meridian Idaho Police Officer.
According to Hector, who
goes by the name Rainbow Warrior, he said of the Traffic Stop;
“I was pulled over for
wearing 'The Anonymous Mask' or the 'Guy Fox Mask' while driving a Motor
vehicle in Meridian Idaho."
Documents obtained via the Idaho Public Records Act through the
Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy had described the
following procedure when engaging in a Traffic Stop;
“An Officer may conduct a
Warrantless Search of an automobile, including any containers,
packages or compartments located inside the automobile that are
capable of concealing the object of a search if;
-Probable Cause to believe
automobile contains contraband or evidence of a crime; and
-Automobile
is readily mobile
-Readily
capable of use on highway and found in a stationary place. Not used
for residential purposes.”
The
wearing of masks had long been deemed suspicious activity by Law
Enforcement before September 11th, 2001.
