On June 6th, 2014, Boise State University issued a new Policy Guidance for Concealed Carry on campus

This was after the passage of Idaho Senate Bill No 1254 from the Idaho State Legislature.

During the session, the divide for and against the bill was seen on the Statehouse steps;

Metal Detectors were planned for installation at Bronco Stadium, according to the Idaho Statesman.
