Fact Check: Does the City of Boise include online records requests in its website instructions?


Mark Reinhardt- Boise Idaho In a recent conversation through Twitter, Jason Denizac, a resident of Boise, had been having issues with City Records Requests, Later, Denizac wrote, Does, the City of Boise include Electronic Submission for Records Requests in its website instructions? According to the City of Boise's website, this is what was said about how to obtain Public Records, "All Requests can be made directly to the City Department responsible for the record in writing. If you do not know which department is responsible for the record, you can submit the request directly to the Office of the City Clerk. First, click on the Public Request Form electronic submittal link and fill it out. Then hit submit. If you do not wish to do it electronically, then you may transmit it to our office by one of the following methods" http://cityclerk.cityofboise.org/public-records/ The City of Boise does, in fact, include electronic submission of records requests. http://cityclerk.cityofboise.org/public-records/records-request-form/
